Allow messages to be displayed with Fixed Width font

Story

For similar reasons that you use a fixed-width font on terminals, it would be nice to format the Events window as fixed-width as well.

Specifically, the text rendered with the message, including any columns set up.

Solution

As this would not be everyone's preference, and appeal more to technical-first perspectives, it would make sense to implement a toggle for this.

Then, you could potentially customise a toggle per saved view, allowing for a greater degree of flexibility when customising views and dashboards where messages are rendered.

Thanks for the suggestion @HaydenReeve 👍 This is possibly something you could achieve using a custom theme override, but that would apply to all users of the system.

I'd like to second this, there are scenarios where we might logs small hex dumps (for example) or other similar columnar blocks of text where the alignment of columns is visually helpful.

To provide a specific example of @KodrAus 's solution:

In Settings > General > Style overrides add:

.rendered-message {
    font-family: monospace;
}

and event messages will be monospaced.
