It might be worth triggering an ajax request when a user starts following a new user only if the user has 0 tweets in their feed. Why? It weird that you have to reload the page to see your followers new tweets.
Or maybe there is an ingenious way to integrate your new followings tweets into your current feed, but naturally, without causing a scroll up.
