When Updating today i got a warning in the chat to enable the Startup setting "Unlink hidden prerequisites" from this mod.
The problem im reporting is that the list of affected researches can sometimes be so long that its cut of from chat (like in my case with all internal researches from https://mods.factorio.com/mod/qol_research).
Apologizes if the detection isnt from this mod but if it is it would be greatly appreciated to have the output go to the log file instead of the chat and having a message in chat telling the user to look at the log file.
Both with the option enabled and disabled it not only becomes it self unreadable after a certain number of characters but also makes the chat unusable as it effectively flushes whatever was in chat before.
I dont know how to handle this, if a setting would be better or having it based on the message length but it should be generally avoided having long messages inc hat and instead put them in the log if they cant be shortened.
