Cannot connect to host backend.labcom.cloud:443 ssl:default [DNS server returned general failure]

Hi everyone,

since yesterday i get this error and the integration doesn't work anymore: Failed setup, will retry: Unknown error communicating with API: Cannot connect to host backend.labcom.cloud:443 ssl:default [DNS server returned general failure].

Any ideas where this comes from? Using dockerized Homeassistant 2025.6.0.

Okay, downgraded to v1.2 and back to 1.3 (worked in 1.2 and back in 1.3 it worked as well). now everything works. strange. any idea what got broken? ty

Not really, have been a few defects reported on the backend area over the last months.
Swapping between different sub-domains and if to use http or https.
If it happens again you could try to "repair" the integration and see if it resolves the same way as swapping versions. With latest release you should also be able to "configure" the url, even if it's correct doing so will re-initialize the connection to backend.
