Currently, when configuring the Dagu Agent, cloud-based providers (like OpenAI or Anthropic) often appear at the top of the selection list. This contradicts Dagu’s core philosophy of being a lightweight, self-hosted orchestrator. Users aiming for a "local-first" setup must scroll past paid, external services to find the local configuration options.
I would like the "local" provider to be the first option in the provider selection list/dropdown.
An alternative would be a "preferred provider" toggle in the global configuration, but simply reordering the list to favor local by default is a cleaner, more opinionated design choice that fits the Dagu brand.
