why "isnad"?
for 1400 years, Islamic scholars verified truth through chains of trusted narrators (إسناد).
a hadith was only as trustworthy as its chain of transmission.
we're bringing that to AI. every resource carries a provenance chain showing who vouched for it.
the problem:
agents extend capabilities through shared resources — skills, prompts, configs.
these run with elevated permissions. a compromised resource can:
• read credentials
• exfiltrate data
• manipulate behavior
manual review doesn't scale. reputation is gameable.
the solution: proof-of-stake attestation.
