What should the resource manage?

The webstorm resource will install and manage Webstorm the Jetbrains IDE.

In addition to installing Webstorm, the resource should be able to manage common settings for Webstorm:

• Previous settings import
• Plugins
• Themes and IDE settings like font size spacing and such
• Settings such as JVM heap size and such

For the main resource allow copying settings from a previous installation:

• We need the import because if we change the settings via Codify then the settings won't be copied over.
• Allow the user to control this behavior via a settings flag that defaults to true

Plugin management

• Add an auto-completion script for plugins so that it's easier for users

Settings:

• JVM heap size would be super useful
• Themes and IDE settings

Make sure for linux to also install the desktop shortcut:

Create a desktop entry
In the main menu, go to Tools | Create Desktop Entry.

The following steps are for Ubuntu 23.10. If you are using a different Linux distribution or version of Ubuntu, refer to its documentation.

Click Activities in the top-left corner of the screen.

Click the grid button in the dash to show all applications.

To pin the app to the dash, right-click the WebStorm icon and select Add to Favorites.
