endless password request

I'm running a testbed in docker on a test machine. works. I am registering a domain name in keenetic. an error appears in a red line at the top of the page. adding a domain name to ${ORIGIN:-} and add the line ${PASSWORD:-mysuperpassword} and restart the container. the page asks for a password. I enter the password and the page asks for the password again. I tried to add a secret key, but nothing changes. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, did you just set up port forwarding from keenetic to container? Not using nginx reverse proxy?
Can you show what is output in the browser debug console?

Thanks @DodelM , I don't see anything related to dashlit in the logs. Can you show the response after entering the password (in the debug panel, network tab)? The URL should be something like this http://host/login?/login=

This issue that I can't replicate seems to me a permission issue on the dashlit folder.

If you guy use a Synology NAS, ensure that your current NAS user has Read/Write permissions for the Docker folder in Control Panel > User & Group > Select the current NAS user > Edit tab > Permissions tab.

Fix the permission issue to the folder. You can't write to the database.

My current NAS user (the login I used to create the folder) has full permissions as the owner.

Try to add everyone read write permission to the daslist folder like this other article https://mariushosting.com/how-to-install-viewtube-on-your-synology-nas/ from STEP 5 to STEP 9.

After that restart the daslist container.

Delete the dashlit folder when you reinstall.

Also try another browser too. I can't replicate this issue at all an I tested on 5 different NAS devices.

You can try using a Docker volume instead of a local folder.

Note that instead of - ./data:/app/data you need to use - data:/app/data and add the

volumes:

for example like this:
