Pitching: Abby Eccher (UG/KCK) and Matt Cook
The UG needs an html lookup table that allows property owners to see how potential policy/rate changes to stormwater utilities will affect them. The UG has a data table, but we need a UI that interacts with residents and provides transparency during the policy change to assist commissioners and decision makers.
Target audience: Property owners within Wyandotte County
Stakeholders: Wyandotte County Residents; UG Public Works; UG Commissioners; UG County Admin's Office.
User story: As a property owner in Wyandotte County, I need to know how certain policy changes will affect my utility costs as the county departs from the $4.50 flat fee to much greater fees; I need to know the outcomes to advocate for myself and influence the policy discussion.
Goal/outcome: Transparency of the policy proposal to residents; Help Commissioners understand the issue from the property owners' perspective and guide the discussion accordingly.
Resources needed: Someone with the technical knowledge to build a UI and cross walk the lookup table.
