Core Idea
- Combine Agile, Design Thinking, and Merrill’s Principles of Instruction to create effective, learner-centered, iterative education.
Adapted Agile
- Agile ↔ Education: Similar need for planning + feedback.
- TDD ↔ Backwards Design → start with assessment goals.
- Design Thinking adds empathy + POV → learner-centered.
- Sprint Cycle (2–4 weeks):
- Backlog → Plan → Meet-users/owners (Empathy) → POV → User Stories
- Development → Ideate (HMW) → Standup/Pinup/Kanban → Implementation → Test/Feedback → Burndown → Retrospective → Close
Design Thinking & LxD
- Instructional Design (ID): Structured, goal-oriented, less flexible.
