Installation failed: node-gyp rebuild fails

Hi, just tried installing this on a node v6.10.2 and got

npm ERR! node v6.10.2
npm ERR! npm  v3.10.10
npm ERR! code ELIFECYCLE

npm ERR! canvas@1.6.5 install: `node-gyp rebuild`
npm ERR! Exit status 1
npm ERR! 
npm ERR! Failed at the canvas@1.6.5 install script 'node-gyp rebuild'.

Anything I can do here? There are a lot of issues in the canvas repo pertaining to this...maybe you know of a solution right off the bat? Thx

Nevermind, running xcode-select --install solved it!
