Use Asset Folder As Public Id Prefix parameter does not work when uploading images

Environment details:

VS Code version: 1.105
Extension version: 0.1.1
Operating system: windows 11

Steps to reproduce:
I have nested a folder for example categories/anime
I am using the ml_default upload preset with Use Asset Folder As Public Id Prefix: false.
When I upload an image to the anime folder, the asset folder is still added to the Public Id Prefix
This still happens when adding the default to the api and also making the preset unsigned
