Sublime text UI is much slower when this plugin is enabled

Repro steps:

1. Open any folder (including one not controlled by perforce) in sublime text
2. Open 3 or 4 tabs of text files/source code
3. Click between tabs
4. Install SUBForce plugin and restart sublime text
5. Click between tabs

Expected:
Tab switch speed in step 5 is just as fast as step 3

Actual:
Huge different in tab switching speed between step 5 and step 3. It's to the point where sometimes the system will hang for a short time, and you'll accidentally tear out the tab.

This sounds like an issue I've investigated a while back when I wanted to use Subforce in a Perforce workspace of a few hundred thousand files, and it boiled down to p4 fstat being called synchronously every time a Sublime View goes in and out of focus. I currently have a fix for that and a few other issues I came across on my fork, if you'd like to try and see if that helps irtab/Subforce

It does seem to work better. Might still have a tiny bit of lag, hard to tell, but it definitely no longer happens for a folder that isn't under P4 control, and if any lag does exist w/ P4 folders, then it's greatly reduced to the point where it's hard to tell or even non-existent. It's not causing the tear-out problem anymore.

I will try it out for a few days and let you know if I'm seeing the hang/tear-out problem at all with the fork.

The fork version works pretty decently when you have a good connection to the host.

I tried both the original and the fork over a VPN. They slow down the entirety of sublime text, even for projects that aren't under perforce control, even for non-project actions. It basically makes ST unusable because there's a multiple-second latency for every action.
