Thanks for taking interest in the project!
I'm quite new to choosing licenses, so I'm not entirely sure which one would be the best fit. Most seem to be explicitlly written/explored for library projects, not executables and their source. I would like the project to be open source, but derivative works also be open source and include a comment saying 'code copied from/inspired by projectlink'.
MIT would be quite more permissive than this and allow derivative works to be closed source, but I think GPL is a bit harder than this? Stuff is difficult 😓

I tend not to use things that are not permissive enough to allow closed source. people will take regardless and give not attribution, unless I have plans for keeping it closed for myself, I try to give it away what I create to support what I've gained.

I haven't looked at the code yet but I'm coming for the widget knowledge. maybe repurpose the app but overall just learning to do that. I'm happy to make attribution in the code if that is what you're most interested in.

One can't really control how knowledge gets transfered from these kinds of projects anyways, so go ahead and use what you want. I'm happy if it's useful for someone :) Ultimately some LLM will pick this up without caring for licensing at some point either way 🥲

Surely would be happy to have it attributed, when you copy code just add a comment with a reference to this project and all is fine.
