Version History not reflecting on Git platform

So, i followed the steps written in the documentation, but when i pushed my repository into git , I am not able to see any version history.
However i am able to see the history in lshistory.bak
I think that the last step i.e gitcc checkin is giving some exceptions
"Exception: fatal: ambiguous argument 'master_ci..': unknown revision or path not in the working tree"

What can be problem here?

@arpit0017 I'm sorry, the error handling in git-cc is terrible. The problem here is that a real error is being squashed by a bad finally block:

If you don't mind modifying the code, you need to comment out the the code under finally and see what the real error is.

The slowest part of git-cc is getting the initial lshistory.bak file (I'm not sure how big your repository is), but now that have a copy you can do an import directly and bypass having to wait for loading it again:

git-cc rebase --load=.git/lshistory.bak

I should also mention that I'm not actively supporting git-cc (I haven't used clearcase in almost 10 years). If you're not comfortable with having to poke around the python I have to warn you that git-cc is very brittle (I was very young at the time) and you might find the experience frustrating.
