Cipher needs a lot of improvements:

• Polish the Java API
• Implement pending pieces of the Java API ( OpenSSLCipherSpi )
• Deep-dive into the CCM failures - Getting Cipher operation failed error for AES-CCM decrypt operations openssl/openssl#22773
• Refactor code Java / JNI / C / tests
• Introduce Cleaners in the class
• This is not right.

Hi @pushkarnk, I hope you're well. I'll looking at the CCM issue soon. I submitted a PR upstream for the issue you linked #22773 although I don't think it's related to the issue we're seeing here. I'll keep you posted. In the meantime, I'd highly appreciate it if you could shed some light on the other points you mentioned above. That will help me better understand what's expected. Thanks

Hey @zelda923 , thanks for the update! Only the CCM failure was something that needed addressing in openssl. The rest of the issues pertain to this project, which is a Java wrapper around openssl. Most of them (except the last point) are fixed now. I guess this issue could be closed.
