"Start value" / "initial value" Feature

Hi.
1st I would like to thank you and everybody involved for your hard work.
I do however have a feature request.

When creating a Utility meter a with "periodical reset",
I wish I could set a "start/initial value" for the meter.

For example:
I created a utility meter with a "YEARLY" periodical reset.
I used the following cron pattern, which should reset the meter on the 1st of August every year.
(using "0 0 1 8 *" )

But because we are still in February,
one would have to wait until August, (or in the worst case almost a full year)
before the meter starts showing the correct "yearly" value :-(

This applies to all other periodically resets as well.

Is it possible to add this feature?
or did I miss something?
