Hi,

is it possible to compute earth<-> space atmo attenuation including other than gaseous with this package ? e.g like in ITUR-P 618 (precipitation, clouds, gaseous, scintillation

from what i see only 676 is implemented, is that correct ?

in particular, a couple of guys and me are thinking of continuing maintenance of package itur-py which does that https://github.com/inigodelportillo/ITU-Rpy/tree/master, but whose maintenance is discontinued since a few years and author does not respond.

Hi @vianneylanguille, thanks for reaching out. It's great that you want to "revive" itur-py, I certainly will have an eye on it.

Regarding your question about my own implementation of P.676 (and helpers), you are correct - this is only about gaseous atmospheric absorption. I never found time to look into cases involving rain etc. (These are not that critical for radio astronomy compatibility...)
