Steps to reproduce:
Fire up an application that can utilize more than 1 thread such as the lichess analysis board found at lichess.org/analysis, set the number of threads to whatever amount you want and let it run. When set to use all of the cores the usage peaks at about 30% in zenith. htop also registers the same number that zenith reports, but top has the expected usage listed. The display section showing the individual CPU usage graph in the upper left does look as expected with however many cores were given to the test software being pegged at around 100.
