Not working in selected option

Tried this extension in Edge browser.
It is working fine but not when selecting "On all sites" in Site access in extension settings.
Tested it on google sign in page

I've tried to load the extension on chrome and this is the error I get:

Extension loading failed
Archive Error
~\Desktop\plain-sight-main

Missing or unreadable manifest file
Failed to load manifest file.

I tried everything, even writing myself the manifest.json file but I can't get around it.

The manifest.json is created during the build process. You need to run pnpm build or pnpm dev and then use the folder inside build/chrome-mv3-dev to load the extension, as described in the README.
