JSON UI Viewer

What if there was a feature, basically the same idea as the entity viewer for a .geo.json file, that allowed you to render a JSON UI file? It could appear in a separate panel and be able to play animations, possibly navigate, etc. This would be a lifesaver for people developing custom UIs.

I know it's taken a while for me to start, but now that I'm into summer I think I'll have a lot of time to work on this. I've worked on it a little bit and it's looking promising. I cloned it from the dev branch of the editor repository and I've made it so you can click on a button that opens the viewer (which doesn't display anything). Idk if I'll be able to finish it or not but I'll see what I can do!

Alright update, I've worked on it a bit more and have run into a bit of problem. Most of JSON UI is built off of existing UI files in the vanilla pack, such as being able to access elements from the common_buttons namespace. Because of this, I may have to put the vanilla UI files in the editor-packages repo so that I'm not building a wireframe JSON UI renderer of the elements. Is this the right thing to do, and if so would I put it here? Thanks

Yes I believe that would be a good place to put it. We can always move it.

I think I'm going to stop trying to contribute to this. It looks like I'm not going to have the time to do a big project like this anyways. Thanks for letting me try to help, and sorry for wasting your time. I'll cancel my pull request to the other repo.
