Suggestion: have you heard of semantic-release? #103
Description
I try to recommend this for all projects I can't find a changelog for. FWIW, if you use semantic-release, it would automatically generate GitHub releases that list what's changed, based upon commit messages (which do have to follow a certain format). I see a lot of projects where maintainers don't have time to maintain a changelog and semantic-release will take care of that and more (for instance automatically commenting on fixed issues once the fix gets released).
If you're interested let me know and I'll make a PR to set it up.
