Improve the tools to generate the certificates #2
Description
Although the repository contents are a really great resource for creating the certificates, and ease and automatize the task (thanks for this @ccraddock), I ignore whether the LaTeX-based system is flexible enough to accommodate other templates.
Not sure if Python could be helpful in combination with the existent LaTeX tools or with a script of its own taking both the names *.csv files and the media (logos, etc.) materials (or directly a PDF with the media materials as the background).
Not sure about the pros/cons of the existing approach and the proposed one.
The proposed one is used in the SW Carpentries:

Any thoughts @ccraddock ?
This would be a mid- or long-term project, in any case.
