Maven Repository is Down

The Maven repository referenced for the client in these examples is http://www.systap.com/maven/releases, but the site seems to be down.

Issue still exists. Is there another repository, where the libraries can be retrieved from?

Sure, the binaries are available around:
https://repo.maven.apache.org/maven2/com/blazegraph/bigdata-core/
https://search.maven.org/#search%7Cgav%7C1%7Cg%3A%22com.blazegraph%22%20AND%20a%3A%22bigdata-core%22

If you've got a clean checkout
git clone https://github.com/blazegraph/blazegraph-samples.git,

then simple maven build should build all the samples for you.

mvn clean install

(just remove sonatype repository from the main pom.xml file if it times out)
