[PM-38602] UI/UX inconsistency: login error message deviates from those of the other BW clients #7022

@pamperer562580892423

Description

@pamperer562580892423

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Go to the login screen.
  2. Now, make sure that at least one of the next three things is incorrectly chosen/typed so that it results in a login error:
  • Chose the server region (US, EU, self-hosted - valid or invalid)
  • Enter your BW account email address. (valid or invalid)
  • Enter your master password. (valid or invalid)

Expected Result

The following error message was adjusted some time ago on most BW clients/apps. The mobile app should show the same error message (for UI/UX consistency).

(that "newer" error message of the other BW clients/apps says: "Invalid master password. Confirm your email is correct and your account was created on vault.bitwarden.eu." - of course the last part would be vault.bitwarden.com if you're trying to login on the EU US server region).

Actual Result

The following error message is not consistent with the other BW clients/apps and was not adjusted accordingly. --> the UI/UX is inconsistent

(this "older" error message just says "Username or password is incorrect. Try again.")

Additional Context

Please check the iOS app's error message as well for UI/UX (in)consistency.
