What is the problem this feature will solve?

The current Fluentd container image is based on Debian 12, which does not include the latest versions of libssl-dev, openssl, and libssl3.

What is the feature you are proposing to solve the problem?

Could you please consider releasing a Debian 13–based Fluentd container image that includes the latest versions of libssl-dev, openssl, and libssl3?

The Bitnami Application Catalog (open-source) is built on Debian 12. Additionally, as part of VMware, Bitnami offers a custom container and Helm Charts catalog based on various base images, including Debian 11, 12 & 13 (WIP), PhotonOS 5, and Red Hat UBI 8 & 9. You can explore these options through the Bitnami Secure Images Catalog.

In the short/mid-term, there are no plans to upgrade the open-source catalog from Debian 12 to 13. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
