Can't mark candidates with `helm-projectile-ag`

Using helm-projectile-20250814.1150, when I search a project with helm-projectile-ag, I get "[Marking not allowed with this source]". I can mark candidates with helm-projectile-grep and with helm-ag.

I've checked this behaviour is present with emacs -Q and loading just helm, projectile, and helm-projectile. Is this the intended behaviour? I'm sure that it used to work previously.

Using helm-projectile-20250814.1150, when I search a project

I am afraid that this behaviour is a result of switching from helm-ag
to helm-grep-do-ag as an implementation. Please note that the former is
deprecated and has already been removed from MELPA, so something had to be done
with helm-projectile. I decided to follow recommendation and
use helm-grep-do-ag. As opposed to, say using unsupported helm-ag and
forcing users to jump over the hoops of installing the package directly from
source and managing it. OFC, there's a question of keeping helm-ag in a
working condition.

I can see that executing command helm-grep-do-ag results with "[Marking not
allowed with this source]". If you can see the same, I suggest to bring this up
with upstream helm.
