The future of omemo.top

Hi all.

Sorry for the confusion caused by the domain expiry (#298). I wanted to find a new home / maintainer for the whole project in 2026 … but forgot that I already cancelled the auto-renewal for the domain.

I was on a company-retreat when it expired, so I did not have time to take care of it. The domain was pending deletion but I since renewed it. It is now in a weird limbo, so it might take a few more hours for this to clear up and the domain being available again:

Once it is back, it should be good for another year and I would hope to either find a new home or retire the project altogether. If anyone wants to step up as a maintainer, I'd be happy to transfer the domain, but it might just be that the project itself had it's time and now clients will either implement OMEMO or not bother with it at all 👼

I'd love to hear your thoughts.
