inputenc should use utf8?

Hi,

Please feel free to close this out, I got lots a few warnings when using the package, I made a change to my local copy, to use UTF-8, and that
seemed to fix everything, i.e.

\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}

Just curious is there a reason for using Latin in the original? If not, I could submit a PR. Thanks for the package of course.

Oh this was written so long ago I honestly don't remember. Yeah a PR would be great

Thank you, I've created a PR. This seems to get rid of lots of warnings I had in 'textpad'.
