Sharing Lambda between distributions results in incorrect redirects

I'm trying to use this lambda on two different Cloudfront distributions, with 2 different corresponding OIDC configs.

However it looks like either something is being cached or possibly I'm hitting a container reuse issue?

How can I work-around this issue?

OK, so having done some more digging, I think this issue is a combination of using "global" scope variables, and Lambda's container reuse functionality...

Let me see if I can get things tweaked to use a lower scope.
