Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.EncoderException: ((MULTIPLAYER ERROR))

Greetings, I ran into an issue a while ago when using the electrodynamics mod in a multiplayer world. My buddy is running a server through the "Essential Mod" and whenever we attempt to use a machine block, i.e. an electric furnace or battery box, I crash from the server and then I'm met with an error code following

   "Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.EncoderException: 

java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "net.minecraft.nbt.Tag.m7060()" because "p128370" is null"

The suprising thing is that I'm the only one who crashes, and we attempted bringing in a third person to see if it was just an issue on my end, but they crashed as well with the same error. Funny enough though my buddy, the one who is hosting the server, never crashes when the machine block is active. I've gone to the curseforge forums to see if there was a fix for this error and I found a comment from (August 16th, 2025) mentioning a similar encounter and they appear to have had a more in depth look at the error. Has anyone taken a look into this or possibly have a way of resolving the issue. I've really enjoyed the mod so far in singleplayer and I really want to get my friend involved too. Any feedback or assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This is an incompatibility with the Essential Mod. I have yet to found a way of fixing this, but this does not happen without that mod.
