Type of issue: Mod manager problem
Platform: Steam
OS version: Windows 11 Pro (25H2)
Game version: 3.250.1
SMF version: 2.33.34
Notes
Can't find 'remove mods' option.
I want to temporarily disable all mods to play online version of the game without peacock.
Bonus goal: would be nice to have mod 'profiles' with specified mods enabled and their settings set in specified way.
Would be great to have consistent (best-effort style, so not perfect but usable) way to save multiple different user-defined profiles for several common use-cases (listed as examples, besides first one users should define their own):
- mods disabled (common use case to try vanilla game while saving my favourite config as separate profile)
- bare minimum QOL - for streamers that want to play near-vanilla game but allow some mods that fix bugs or enable new modes they want to show
- a minimal set of mods I can use when i plan to save the game to cloud and want it to work on multiple machines
- current favourite - I want to save current combination/order of mods and their settings, that I verified working, before experimenting with adding new ones that might break sth - easy rollback to last known good config is really useful
Stretch goal: as long as framework, game and enabled mods versions are same, cache deployment artifacts to easily switch between profiles without long deployment process.
