Follow-up With Kafka on Jetbrains Plugin

Issue description

Weekly meeting discussed intellij plugin status (https://lists.apache.org/thread/gxvmy2g9kndtqqnr8q9ldgt7owf0ww7t). We need to follow-up with Kafka as a next step to see how they took over their own plugin.

I have not heard back yet from https://lists.apache.org/thread/x1xc2g02j92ncgyhc4bqg70kv7drxlhr and also have had a difficult time finding the plugin on https://plugins.jetbrains.com/ or on https://github.com/JetBrains/intellij-obsolete-plugins
