I use Fine-grained Personal Access Tokens，but hint：

If you want to collect private repositories, please check the field repo.

my tokens have success Permissions！how can i solve it，my devlake version is "v1.0.1@e061ef2"

This is a known issue with Fine-grained Personal Access Tokens in DevLake v1.0.1. The error message incorrectly references classic PAT scope names (repo:status, repo_deployment, read:user, read:org) which don't apply to fine-grained tokens.

Workaround: Grant your fine-grained token all the permissions listed under "GitHub Apps" in the DevLake documentation, including read access for: Actions, Contents, Issues, Metadata, Pull requests, etc. Even with correct permissions, the "Test Connection" warning may still appear, but data collection should work.

Recommended solution: Use a classic Personal Access Token instead — they're more reliable with DevLake v1.0.1. Classic tokens require these scopes: repo:status, repo_deployment, read:user, read:org, and repo for private repositories.

Yes, this issue has been fixed — PR #8681 specifically addressed private repositories not appearing in the "Add Data Scope" interface when using Fine-grained PATs. However, since you're on v1.0.1, you likely don't have this fix yet.

Options:

1. Upgrade DevLake to the latest version to get the fix
2. Workaround for v1.0.1: Grant your fine-grained token ALL permissions listed under the "GitHub Apps" section in the docs (not just the 6 listed under fine-grained tokens — that documentation is incomplete). After that, repos should appear in "Add Data Scope"

Upgrading is the recommended path since multiple Fine-grained PAT fixes have been merged after v1.0.1.
