Add support for (cross) hatching or other more advanced background textures wherever a colour/gradient can be specified

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I'm printing in black and white and I'd like more options to distinguish the backgrounds of certain components without having to use colour for my prototype.

Expand the colour & gradient options to support hatching/cross hatching and maybe even other patterns if possible

Describe alternatives you've considered
I could probably make my own texture image and use that but for rapid prototyping this would be a nice lazy option to have.

Interesting! I like it. Not sure how I would go about this, but SVG does do this and Cairo would be capable of it I think.
