The Auto-GTAP documentation lists GEMPACK as a pre-requisite for only certain examples but I believe you may need the (free non-source) version for even the "simple" examples.

I believe this because the simple productivity increase version requires running MSplitCOM. And https://www.copsmodels.com/msplitcom.htm indicates that you can test MSplitCOM by running compallf.bat. But when I try to run it in .\examples\productivity-increase-simple\WorkFiles\GTAP-V6\MSplitCom-Exe, I get the error:

Possibly nevermind? I need to test this.

So MSplitCOM (msplitbat.bat) only seems to require tablo in order to run campallf.bat ( source: https://www.copsmodels.com/msplitcom.htm). Compallf is short for "COMPile ALL Fortran" (I think), which is what you need GEMPACK for. I believe I already did that for you in the version of MSplitCOM distributed with Auto-GTAP. So I need to uninstall GEMPACK to test, but you might be able to just run msplitbat.bat direclty.

Yeah. Definitely nevermind. I uninstalled GEMPACK and I can still run MSplitCOM

Nevermind on neverminding this. The free version of GEMPACK does seem necessary, even for the simple examples

If GEMPACK, bug #12 becomes worse. I then get the (new) error below. This error occurs both in windows explorer and autoGTAP.
