how to draw markers?

can we draw markers like Buy and Sell signals? also can we rename overlays on tool tip

Great suggestions @chekotisrikanth ! Both features are planned for the next release:

• Markers for Buy/Sell signals - Support for arrows, triangles, and custom shapes with configurable colors/sizes
• Custom overlay names in tooltips - Ability to rename overlays for better clarity

Hey @chekotisrikanth — both features are now available in the latest release!

Trade markers (buy/sell arrows)

Pass a trades array aligned with your index. Values: 1 (buy), -1 (sell), 0 (no trade).

Buy signals render as green up-arrows below the low; sell signals render as red down-arrows above the high. Arrow size adapts to zoom level.

Custom overlay names in tooltips

Overlay names come directly from the dict keys you pass:

    "SMA 50": sma_50,       # shows as "SMA 50" in the tooltip
    "EMA 20": ema_20,       # shows as "EMA 20" in the tooltip
}

Bonus — subplot types

We also added bar charts, scatter plots, and multi-series subplots:
