[Android] Search delay incorrectly shows "No results found"

Describe the bug
When searching for a location, if typing in multiple characters quickly, often the app will initially show "No results found", followed by the spinning circle, followed by the actual results

Primarily experience on initial launch of the app, which was off-putting for overall experience. When trying to reproduce later, was not able to get to recreate until I deleted the app and installed it again

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Install the app and open for the first time
2. Go to 'Map'
3. Click on search bar
4. Quickly type in a location name
5. Observe initially showing "No results found"

Expected behavior
Before ever showing "No results found", the activity circle should be present until the search is fully done, rather than initially showing "No results found"
