Is there an API to retrieve the path of the video file

Is there a way to determine the name of the file of the video generated? and how to retrieve the file path of the video?

Hi Hemanth,

There is a way to do this - you will first have to change the back-end
video storage scheme:

I seem to have forgotten to document the rest of the API. However if you
install this server on the hub:

https://github.com/aimmac23/selenium-video-node/blob/master/src/main/java/com/aimmac23/hub/servlet/HubVideoInfoServlet.java

You can then pass the sessionId to find out where the video has been stored.

I'll document the API properly when I get home.

Hi. I see that you have updated your docs. It would be more helpful if you can give an example for video storage and video path and how it can be configured in the hub.
Do we need to add a servlets in the hub configuration?
Also what is the maximum amount of files the temporary storage will check before deleting the files if there are too many? Can we set this value?

Hi hemanthsridhar,

Sorry, I didn't spot your last comment. I've updated the documentation with the current maximum number of temporary video files.

At the moment there is no way to override this number - the intention is that the temporary Hub video storage is only to help users get started (and cover basic use-cases), but a different storage mechanism should be selected once users grow out of it.

I'll think about adding an examples page to the docs - maybe it could be useful.

I used session id to find where did video save but the response return :
