Faraday Scans Are slowing down #9
Description
An unknown issue caused problems with the communication with the Sacher laser. Now two communications must be sent to the device in order for it to respond. Figuring out this issue would generally speed up data collection.
Also, we currently scan the frequency of the laser by adjusting the temperature. It would likely be faster to instead adjust the current. I should look into doing this. I originally chose to adjust the temperature rather than the current because then the intensity would be more consistent.
