Benefit

The 2024 update to the statewide high resolution aerial photography, currently provided by Hexagon, marks the end of our current aerial photography contact. This survey will provide input to aid in determining what the future of high-res imagery should be in Utah.

Spoke to Laura about this today. We still plan to send out this survey but need to talk more about it and adjust the angle.

Spoke with Laura about this. The plan is to send the survey out the week of Jan 5th, 2026. We are going to meet next week to discuss the survey questions again.

I spoke with Lou about the survey and provided her the outline we have been working on. Withing a couple hours she provided this:

Hi Laura, Erik and Rick,

As per Rick's request, I put together a survey about your aerial photography program. The questions are focused on helping:
Understand Trade-offs: Learn what trade-offs your community would be willing to make with regards to resolution, frequency and coverage.
Support your Advocacy: Give you material that will help you advocate for the budget to the legislature.
When someone selects high resolution or high frequency, for example, we also ask them to explain why it's important to them. At the end, we ask about the impact of not having the imagery. These questions will give you quotes you can bring to your conversations with the legislature.

I wasn't able to view the first link. May not be important. Hopefully everyone can see the preview link. If CX needs to update the sharing for folks to see those links, I think we have a UGRC group that has been used in other surveys.

It reads well, here's some minor feedback.

I think the year is off by one?
