Hi,
You mention checking Site.rpc.public on LiveJournal.com for more information on the jsonrpc methods. What do you mean by that? How can I perform this check?

Just open http://www.livejournal.com/ in the browser, open JS console and execute Site.rpc.public. You will get an object with all possible public calls:
