It might be helpful to note these in the readme:
It will look for steam_api64.dll instead on a 64 bit system and that it is in the SDK files under "redistributable_bin\win64".
For testing you will need to place a steam_appid.txt in the root folder with the Steam store app id inside as shown in the example files as per the SteamAPI_Init documentation. (And remove it prior to your Steam build so it doesn't ship with the build.)
