i think you should put the dll file into the directory that contains the gd executable, example:
imagine a directory called GeometryDash, this directory contains the GD executable, some other DLL files and the assets directory. Dont put the dll file in the assets directory but in the GeometryDash directory directly, then create a directory in the GeometryDash directory called adaf-dll, the folder where you should copy all the dll to be loaded in GD.
