micro -plugin install doesn't work

Hey! I just installed this plugin in Linux (Mint 22.2 w/ Micro 2.0.13) using:

micro -plugin install autofmt

And I got the same error:

Unknown command fmt

However, when I uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled it using your official instructions (i.e., git clone and then make), the error went away!

You won't be able to use micro -plugin install until that PR is merged, and plugin-channel has a lot of open PRs. Please install with make instead.

Sadly installing via clone + make hasn't worked for me.

I'm on MacOS. After running make I see the $HOME/.config/micro/plug/micro-autofmt/ directory and it contains autofmt.lua. Running plugin list I only see the built-ins and no autofmt. Reloading/restarting had no effect.

plugin install autofmt installs the old version in the same .config/micro/plug/ directory, and that does show up in the plugin list (as yapf).

Is there any debugging information I can provide for you?

That happened to me as well.

I bisected the thing a bit and found that it was 10dca70 that caused this. Some experimentation reveals the problem is that the "Name" key in the json file does not accept a hyphen (change it to autofmt or microautofmt and it works after running > reload and > plugin list).
