Pre-Game Checklist

Utilize the below checklist to ensure you and your gear are game ready!

	Internet Connection	If possible, prior to game day verify that the location you will be streaming from has a solid data connection.  In addition, ensure that your data plan has sufficient remaining data in your current pay period to stream your game without hitting any throttling limits.
	Batteries	Ensure that the battery of both your camcorder and your laptop/tablet can last the duration of a game and are fully charged prior to kick-off.
	Laptop/Tablet External battery	To ensure that your device remains powered during the entirety of a game and to ensure your device does not change power management states it is a good idea to utilize an external battery on your laptop/tablet.
	USB Hub	Video capture cards require a significant amount of power to function properly therefore it is best practice to have your capture card directly connected to your USB port, do NOT use a USB hub.
	Secure Connections	To ensure cables do not come loose while you are filming it is important to ensure they are secured.  You can reference this guide for suggested methods to secure your cables.  (link)
	Weatherproofing	Check the weather forecast just prior to kick-off and if rain is in the forecast have your gear in its weatherproofing  prior to the game starting or have it handy so you can protect your gear as quickly as possible.
