Comparison of model parameters without time #27

Hello, thank you for the nice package.
What is your opinion of the case where the gene expression in the control samples is very similar to the case samples regarding the shape of the curve, but it is either delayed or comes earlier? If I understand correctly this scenario would be considered sig. different by ImpulseDE. In my opinion a slight change in the timing of the response may very well be biologically or conceptually diferrent than when the shape of the gene expression changes significantly.
So I was wondering if that would make sense to compare the model parameters of the genes without the time (h0, h1 h2, and beta, but not t1 and t2)? If so, what statistical test would you recomend for this?
