+biography: "I am a junior majoring in environmental science with certificates in science communication and environmental studies. I have been working in the lab since October 2023 as an undergraduate lab assistant as well as assisting in Ismael’s PhD research studying pollen and ancient environmental DNA, the first aeDNA project in Wisconsin and one of the first in the US. This has included performing LOI and collecting samples out in the field. I am interested in studying the impacts of climate change and finding sustainable solutions to mitigate and address these effects."
