Weather not showing up in United States on Wii Room?

So I have a friend in the US which recently set up Wii Room on his Wii, and when I talked about the weather feature in the channel, he didn't know what I was talking about. He didn't even see the weather.

I was able to see it just fine on my Wii Room since I'm in Canada, but when I changed my Wii's country to US, it stopped displaying.

Do you know why this is?

Hello, this is a known issue due to the amount of cities we have in the Forecast Channel for the United States. We plan on revising the list to solve this issue.
