Somewhat nit-picky, I've seen this in other code, but I think it is possible to include too many comments (which distract from what other comments and the code are trying to convey). It depends on the audience though. For example, I think this could be a useful comment for somebody just starting to learn python. Here is an article that describes more about this idea:
